West Newbury lawyer seeks 2nd Essex House seat
Lone Democrat sure to be on November ballot

Georgetown — Barry Fogel is the only declared Democrat in the field for the open seat to represent the 2nd Essex District in the state House.
The 57-year-old attorney from West Newbury says his strength is in knowing what government can – and can’t – do to make life better for the residents of the district.
“During my 30-year career in law, I have worked in and out of government, drafting laws and regulations and managing the implementation of government programs. My private practice has involved direct work with federal, state and local agencies and boards. I know what it takes to create, run and improve effective government programs, as well as how to reduce or eliminate ineffective programs,” Fogel said…
